To date, certification of products or services, one way or another, faces almost every. Manufacturers in some cases be obliged to certify their products, and at other times they do it voluntarily, increasing their competitiveness. Sellers use certificates as an advertisement. And the consumer always wants to give their money only for the quality, i.e. in their opinion, the certified product.

But what is the point of certification, its value or its price?

For the first quarter of 2018, according to the register of the Federal service for accreditation in the country issued more than thirty four thousand registered certificates and more than two hundred thousand declarations of conformity for different types of products. Do all these products so good? Unfortunately, no! First, mandatory certification implies to a greater extent the security check than the quality of the product or service. Secondly, sometimes it is possible to simply buy a certificate.

Yes, not everything went smoothly with the legislation. Yes, buy a certificate cheaper than to pass a fair certification process. But I think the main problem is still illiteracy in this area, both producers and sellers and consumers. For many, the phrase "products are certified" acts like a spell! But nobody reads, and when reading, you just do not understand what is written in the certificate. And dishonest manufacturers take advantage of this – certify their products as a hit, if only there was a piece of paper. I believe, for ten years, the certification body has seen a lot of stupid and funny certificates. I will not here give examples, in order to comply with expert ethics and to exclude incriminating moments for colleagues. There are companies with good production, high quality products, but do not have staff specialists who understand the requirements, regulations, etc. as a result, they have a pseudo certificates, looking at the understanding clients refuse to cooperate.
